This an Emu chick that has just hatched.  Well camouflaged don't you think?  Burt (the dad) hatched the babies and will take care of them.  Humans could learn a lot from Emus.<G>	These chicks are a month old and Burt is still the wonderful dad.
The chicks are now 3 1/2 months and ready to go to their new homes.	Emu eggs are a really pretty dark green, although this one looks way to dark.
